Explore the revenue operating system
Built at enterprise scale — Microsoft, Drake, Blacksmith, Echo Tone. The method underneath is what Gridward brings to a company your size, and it is the method, not the logos, that does the work.
Your revenue motion should not live in someone’s head.
Most growing B2B companies already have pieces of the answer: experienced people, CRM, sales tools, data, AI and customer knowledge. The problem is that none of it is connected, and none of it is measured against the one number that matters.
Our primary focus is owner-led industrial businesses in instrumentation, valves and controls, typically five to fifty people, with sales knowledge concentrated in the owner and no dedicated revenue operations function.
Before Gridward
After Gridward
Connect the revenue motion end to end.
At Gridward, we design your revenue system around your business, then connect the information, decisions, workflows, and human actions required to run it.
Build only what creates commercial leverage.
At Gridward, we identify the constraint limiting growth, then design and build the systems required to remove it.

Build a stronger company now. Preserve more options later.
Revenue growth matters more when it creates a business that is less dependent on the owner, easier to operate, easier to measure and more valuable to a future buyer, successor or management team. The assessment establishes that baseline across eight domains before anything changes.
Enterprise Value & Exit Readiness Assessment
Establish the current state across eight domains through 32 structured questions, and report a Readiness Score, an Evidence Confidence Score, indicative current and potential enterprise value positions, and the estimated value gap.
Value Gap & Readiness Plan
Identify the issues suppressing value or transferability, then prioritize the few changes with the greatest potential impact on growth, risk and enterprise value.
90-Day Value Acceleration
Translate the plan into focused implementation cycles. Gridward brings in the right commercial, systems, data, automation or specialist capability only where the diagnosis calls for it.
Gridward owns the strategy and the implementation thread. Assessment, prioritization, the Value Gap & Readiness plan, revenue systems, commercial systems, AI and automation, and the coordination that holds the work together.
Where specialist work sits outside Gridward’s core scope, we can help identify and coordinate the right qualified expertise as the engagement develops.
Specific specialist support depends on the client’s needs, scope and professional availability. Formal valuation, legal, tax and transaction advice is provided by appropriately qualified professionals.

How Gridward Builds Revenue Systems
This is how we build, and it applies to every system we deliver. We assess the revenue motion, diagnose what is limiting growth, design the right system, build it, deploy it, and improve it through real-world feedback. Client engagements run through the three-stage Assess, Prioritize and Accelerate methodology; these five steps are how that work gets built inside it.
Four Disciplines. One Revenue System.
Gridward combines commercial judgment, technical engineering, enterprise-value strategy and AI intelligence into one integrated revenue system.

Assess the business. Prioritize what moves value. Then accelerate.
Start with a complimentary 30-minute introductory call to discuss fit. If there is a clear opportunity, the paid assessment establishes the current state across eight domains, then the Value Gap and Readiness Plan names what to change and in what order. You decide whether to proceed to acceleration.

Enterprise Value and Exit Readiness Assessment
Three to five business days from receipt of agreed data and access. We assess the current state across eight domains through 32 structured questions and report a Readiness Score, an Evidence Confidence Score, indicative current and potential enterprise value positions, and the estimated value gap. The report names strengths, priority areas and transferability risk. Sequencing, named owners and KPIs are reserved for the Value Gap & Readiness Plan.
- Revenue durability and concentrationwhich customers, channels or suppliers carry the result
- Owner dependence and transferabilitywhat the business runs on that only the owner holds
- Financial visibility and earnings qualitywhether a third party can produce a defensible EBITDA from the records
- Management depth and decision rightswhich decisions still escalate to the owner
- Operating maturitywhether performance repeats without the owner present
- Technology, data and systemswhether the record behind the numbers is portable
- Supplier, channel and asset resiliencewhat a change of control would put at risk

Deliverables and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.
- One priority workflow, such as account targeting and outreach, quote follow-up or opportunity management
- Configuration and agreed integrations within your existing CRM and tools
- A dashboard tracking agreed measures such as follow-up time, conversion and pipeline progression

What is the Enterprise Value and Exit Readiness Assessment?
A paid assessment, CAD $2,500 fixed, completed in three to five business days from receipt of agreed data and access. It establishes the current state across eight domains — revenue durability and concentration, owner dependence and transferability, financial visibility and earnings quality, management depth and decision rights, operating maturity, technology, data and systems, supplier and channel resilience, and owner personal and transaction readiness — through 32 structured questions, and reports a Readiness Score, an Evidence Confidence Score, indicative current and potential enterprise value positions, and the estimated value gap. Transferability is tested rather than assumed against four transferability tests: four consecutive weeks of owner absence, a second person who can quote and negotiate unaided, a third party can produce defensible EBITDA within a reasonable time, and key contracts and assets are transferable on change of control. The four-week absence test is observed after handover rather than inside the assessment window. The report names strengths, priority areas and risk. Sequencing, named owners and KPIs are reserved for the Value Gap & Readiness Plan. The assessment fee is credited against the first month if you continue.
How much does the Revenue System Retainer cost?
CAD $6,500 per month, plus taxes, on a three-month minimum — CAD $19,500 total. It covers one priority revenue workflow, configuration and integrations in your existing tools, a dashboard of agreed measures, a monthly delivery backlog, documentation and training. Software subscriptions, major custom applications, ERP migrations and additional workflows are priced separately.
What kind of businesses is Gridward built for?
Primarily owner-led industrial firms in instrumentation, valves and controls, typically five to fifty people, where sales knowledge sits with the owner. We also work with building automation, HVAC and security integrators, B2B technology providers, and specialist engineering, consulting and managed IT firms.
Do you replace our software or sell subscriptions?
No. We identify the constraint first, then configure what you already have wherever possible, and build AI or custom software only where standard tools fall short. You keep the system and the knowledge in it.
What is the Gridward Method?
Assess, prioritize, then accelerate. The assessment establishes the current state across eight domains, the Value Gap & Readiness Plan names what to change and in what order, and acceleration applies it in focused cycles. Each assessment re-establishes the baseline, so every cycle produces better decisions rather than more software. Inside each stage, the work is built the same way Gridward builds any revenue system: assess the motion, diagnose the constraint, design the smallest useful system, engineer it, then deploy and improve.
What experience is behind Gridward?
Gridward brings together enterprise sales, go-to-market strategy, revenue systems, automation, AI, financial analysis and enterprise-value thinking. The founding team's experience spans Microsoft, Drake International, Netex, Blacksmith Agency and Echo Tone, working across complex B2B sales, market development, revenue operations and growth systems.
How does engagement with Gridward start?
With a complimentary 30-minute introductory call to discuss goals and whether Gridward is a fit. If there is a clear opportunity, we confirm the assessment scope, fee and required inputs before you commit to anything.
Do you advise on selling or exiting the business?
Yes. The Enterprise Value & Exit Readiness Assessment establishes indicative current and potential enterprise value positions, identifies the estimated value gap, and highlights the constraints affecting growth, risk and transferability. The subsequent Value Gap & Readiness Plan prioritizes what should change and in what order. These indicative enterprise value positions are not a formal business valuation, transaction price or buyer offer. For formal valuations, legal, tax or transaction work, Gridward coordinates with appropriately qualified professionals rather than substituting for them.
